Pleasantly Suprised...sorta

Today I got picked for jury duty. I was torn between wanting
to get cut free and seeing the process so I went in with no wish one
way or the other and was completely candid during the interview
process. The reason for this post is I thought some of you would find
it amusing that when asked what my interests are, I told them I am a
tarot reader. Lots of interesting comments from the lawyers who asked
if I could predict the outcome and save everyone some time etc..
they picked me so perhaps tarot readers are not as outcast as one may think.

I got picked for jury duty but didnt end up having to do it cos the guy pled guilty. Just as well cos it was a horrible murder case where a foot was washed up on the beach here in wellington and as fascinating as it may have been , im kinda glad I didnt have to do it, there would have been photos and everything and im not sure Id be up to that. Anyway I digress, Cool that they were interested in the Tarot. Yay, we are not outcasts! :D

I always turn down jury duty. It's not for me. :) The laws are not my laws. I'm against it all I say! lol Anarchy!

Sadly you cant turn down jury duty here, as courts cant select a jury you get what your given....unless you have cast iron excuse you cant escape

Now that you say that it does look like de la rae! I've only ever gave it a cursory glance but it always made me think of Kenny on South Park! lol
