I have just found these online and cant find details of what they are used for. I think they are rather beautiful. ty

Henry Mason The Seven Secrets of Crystal Talismans lists aragonite as a Dispeller/Restorer, Builder. He says the White Ray is illumination, natural cycles, sensing things we can't see.

thanks cardlady it must be the illumination part that was drawing me to the crystals.
I found something that shows caves containing the crystal.

it is saying on some sites its a substitue for calcite?

On the scientific side, it's actually a polymorph of calcite.

ETA: Pretty interesting that when it's buried, it reverts back to calcite ~ I wonder what could be made/said of that in terms of use?
