Hey!
If you had to 'picture' the signs and what they make you think of, what would it be?
For example, here is what I would say:
Aries : Foreign legion officer
Taurus: Mother nature
Gemini: Kids playing during recess
Cancer : A mother lovingly holding her newborn
Leo : A lion
Virgo: A computer
Libra : A couple dancing the waltz
Scorpio: The earth's inner core
Sagittarius : Zeus
Capricorn: A mountain climber at the top of Mount Everest
Aquarius : French revolution
Pisces: Someone drowning while trying to save somebody he doesn't know
Of course, the signs are so much more than any mental picture but still, there is a core essence to each one of them... and chances are everyone understand them a little different.
Oh... I know it's a silly exercise! But..would you like to give it a try? I'd be curious to get a glimpse into the world of your imagination.

Cancer - Josh Holloway preparing you a home cooked meal (from scratch)
Leo - A young Robert Redford playing Hubble from "The Way We Were"
Virgo - Luke Wilson as an accountant helping you during tax season (late into the night, things get heated up)
Libra - Hugh Jackman in Kate and Leopold
Scorpio - Dylan McDermott as the brooding defense attorney in The Practice

Aries: A stuntman
Taurus : An opera singer ( well, I am a Taurean so I love to sing!)
Gemini : a journalist
Cancer : A mother with tons of kids! lol
Leo : I'd be a big shot at the U.N. (lol)
Virgo : I'd find a cure for AIDS
libra : I'd be a marriage counselor... ( not!)
Scorpio : LOL.... I can't say... too indecent for the forum...( hehehe)
Sagittarius : A globetrotter
Capricorn: A real estate tycoon
Aquarius : I'd be a misunderstood genius!

And I have no idea how to apply this to air signs so I will just use things that need air to work although I'm not totally satisfied with these ones.
