Hmmmmm the link to me to a smoke scrying video....interesting but not sure it's what you were talking about.
Same here, its a link to a smoke scrying vid.
VERY interested in the bird omen vid though. Have tried searching youtube but can't seem to find it.

I looked around for it too, no luck.
I saw something on TV a long time ago about "strange" bird flying patterns. It was very interesting. I don't remember what kind of conculsion they came to about it. I just remember the birds. LOL
Birds and their flight patterns have long been seen as omen. Certainly as far back as the Babylonian and Assyrians, their priests would divine the truth/future from the type and actions of birds, animals even sacrifice victims entrails! (eugh)
The Greeks also looked at many omens including birds and their flight patterns. Nepalese, Mongolian and Siberian Shaman do the same as do, I dare say, many other peoples around the globe.
Since birds are often considered 'messengers' of the Gods, its a natural progression to see their movements and appearance as omens.

Certainly its interesting and some points ring true with me but for anyone wishing to develop or learn this, I would suggest, just like you do with pendulum divination, to ask what the movements mean to you and go from there.
For me there is no real 'favourable' or 'unfavourable' since all things which happen are for a purpose and for an outcome to be good or bad suggests that its our agenda we are interested in rather than Divine purpose. Death isn't an easy issue to deal with yet it will happen to us all eventually so looking upon it as favourable or unfavourable is somehow missing the point.
Seeing left or right as temporal or spiritual perhaps, past or future etc I think may hit the spot better.

...speaking of "bird omens"... I have had them all my life and I am reluctant
to share this right now...but I will anyway and see where it leads:
Just in this past month, I have seen "six" dead birds in my travels to visit my
sick husband...and the month isn't over yet!:eek:
One is so impressed on my mind right now...it was lying on it's little back with both
little legs and feet straight up in the air...can't get it out of my mind's eye! :bugeyed:
I also see this one as "having submitted" to the situation at hand...which is true!
...a couple of them had "one" wing straight up and blowing in the wind as if
pointing to something...
I believe that these all pertain to my sick husband that is fighting to stay alive
right now...
...but they also are telling me that "something" deep within my husband has
already died...as he feels trapped in his body with nurses caring for his "every" need :(
I am trying to see the ones with the "wings straight up and moving in the wind"
as a signal that everything is done on the "wings" of Angels Spirits...when we come
here to this plane and when we leave this plane...on the wings of Angels...:heart:

I do believe that the personal messages we get, can have great meaning to us...
Not all birds...but before my surgery...Unusually,
a cardinal flew in front of my car...vitality.
Then in my back yard, a rabbit sat right outside my door staring at the door, not moving...I thought ...my hip...great leaps...quick healing.
About few minutes, maybe less than hour later, looked out same door..
Black cat crossing from one side of my door to other...
I got pneumonia, anemia, now vertigo....so I made great leaps with hip surgery and progress with walking, but all of it was overshadowed by the black cat...the illnesses...yet
I have vitality...and continued through hours of daily PT and OT with viral pneumonia, breathing problems, fever, anemia....and am coming out the other end.
I notice animals more now....I do think it is a personal interpretation and message, but before I went in, I had a good feeling about the rabbit and cardinal, but some ominous feelings about the black cat's appearances...
Not off topic I hope, but nature does speak to us.

6 is pertinent isn't it?You are right, Milfoil, "6" is a "health" number in numerology...can affect the
stomach (which is the problem Michael is having right now)
I was just called by the doctor today and he told me that Michael needs to
have surgery done really soon to replace and "place" a "new" feeding tube...
way down further past his stomach (or in the lower stomach)...this is what I
was trying to tell the doctors that replaced it not too long ago when the
aides accidentally pulled it out while transferring him to a wheel chair with
one of those hydraulic lifts. But the doctors didn't listen and just put in a
temporary tube and not even a real feeding tube!
The doctor is afraid that Michael's very frail condition cannot take pneumonia
again and this incorrect feeding tube is causing it. So now, I am really concerned
about the anesthesia...not sure he can make it through an operation either!
It is a chance we all have to take looks like...it is totally up to the creator now.
I sure hope the birds I saw, giving me a warning of things to come...are "wrong"...
Anyway...6 can also affect the heart, as well as health in general...

Slowly but surely. My immune system was shot from all the caregiving...and loss..and surgery...I am getting stronger.

...:bugeyed: Boy...do I know...I took care of Michael for many years while he had many
little strokes and kept going down and down...especially the last 4 years when
he couldn't dress or bathe himself ...I am still worn out and he has been in the
hospitals/nursing homes since Oct 7th, 2008...still exhausted from it all!!!
One thing good, is that you eventually start getting your energy back up again...
...and you DO HEAL from it all ... just takes a lot of time and making sure you
take care of YOU now... for a change!

...just have to post this...re: dead bird:
I was talking to a friend of mine on the phone today that lives down further
around the lake... about 20 min. from here...(big lake)...
...while we were talking, she was looking out toward the road in front of her
place, and she let out a yell...and then told me that there was a dead bird
that was just hit by a car (she saw it happen) and now it was lying dead on
the street in front of her!
It was almost like I was there and I saw it...that makes 7 birds so far in June
in my life!!! Hope it doesn't continue in July...
Tomorrow I go in to talk to the head nurse to see when Michael will have that
operation...and I will be holding my breath the whole time he is in surgery!!!:bugeyed:

We do indeed heal, Lyn. And we forget some of the painful things...and as time goes one, we have more and more memories of joys and good times from the past...not the images of these last few years.
That is a blessing
