Too bad Tarot has such a bad rep...

Found this while looking for cloth dolls - an amazing prototype doll of "The Fool". Apparently the artist thought about doing the majors but.....

"I had once wanted to do all the characters in the Major Arcana, but I eventually gave up on the idea, as I did not like the occult implications.
I thought that the characters could all be made to represent people in the Bible, but I never got a clear vision from God, so I abandoned the project. "

Can you just imagine what an entire representation of the Majors would look like? Maybe someone as skilled will pick up the idea one day....

That was a beautiful doll! I don't know if people could/would pay for a serial collection of all 22 though.

I like the idea of a cloth doll. Maybe some enterprising seamstress could draw up some patterns to sell . . .

You're right - it would be extremely expensive to purchase a set like that, but patterns or kits would be great - I might even be tempted to learn to sew!

wow, that is beautifully done! Imagine having 22, the whole Major Arcana. Amazing.

Gorgeous! Add that to the list of things to long for that just don't exist. :D

It is a shame that the artist did not feel compelled to finish the series, but it is different strokes for different folks, ya dig? Maybe it is just as well not everyone feels drawn to tarot.
