sensing abilites getting better since reading tarot?

has anyone found that since reading the tarot, you intuitive abilities, and any or all of the, "clairs," clairsentinence, clairoma, clairvoyance, clairgustance, etc, have gotten much stronger? would love to hear from anyone on this.

I have found my sensing abilites became stronger once
I understood the cards and their "truths" in life situations.

Once I started to believe what I understood...
everything started to open up. Not that I'm that
intutitive, I'm more confident to use my intuition now.

In response to ladyofhearts, yes, most definitely. I can usually tell when the phone is going to ring (and who is on the other end), and at certain times, I would swear I know what is going on in other people's heads (as in, I know what they're thinking without any provocation). I've found that the more I use the cards, the more intense this "knowledge" becomes.

With that said, knowing what other people are feeling has gotten stronger. Don't know if I would call myself an empath, but I do know that I am more finely tuned than others.

Or I might just be cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs.

Oh yes, I believe my hunches much more now. Since I started being serious about tarot, I totally believe my hunches. It isn't anything supernatural or spiritual, I just see it as being back in tune with the inner self which day to day life and socialisation has a tendency to obscure.

Very very much so. I had no intuition when I started and I did not even believe in the "clairs" or that such a thing was really possible. When I started I would have feelings about things but would be wrong 100% of the time. Now my intuition is predictable, works dependably and I have great faith in it. And yes I often have experiences with teh "clairs" and have experienced them all right now. I have learnt to respect these experiences deeply as the wisdom-giving loving experiences they are.

I always did tend to read intuitively too, but I CAN see if I look back at my old readings that my readings that were done that way when I was starting out were not as accurate as my more current ones. As the skill of reading intuitively developed more, the stronger my intuition got.

And also, I also learnt to be believe in both faeries AND angels as a result of being a reader. Or I might say that I developed a strong enough intuition that I was able to perceive them more and more. And what happened, in my case, was that as soon as I had developed enough of the inner sensitivity and intuition required to perceive them, they seemed to know it and started contacting me. Almost like they were waiting for me to reach that point.

When I started with the Faeries' Oracle, real faeries starting visiting me regularly and I was able to sense them literally through all my senses (all the clairs came into play, the contacted me at various times using them all).

I can tell you that scared the pants off me when they did start to contact me more and more ( I can sense the faeries laughing at that one, and they know how true it is too! Even though they know how I love them now.) . That just was not a part of my belief system at the time and I really thought I was going nuts. Until I went to a number of faery sites and talked with more and more people who had had the exact same faery experiences I had had. What had happened to me independently was happening to lots of others too.

Finally I calmed down and realized I was sane and something real was happening. LOL The more I understood that, they stopped coming daily, and just came when they had something important to tell me. At first, I think their major message was that I understood they were real and that they are there to help me when I need it. They seemed to need to proove that to me at first. Once I got that, they did not come as often.

Then as a result of a reading with the Lovers Path Tarot, I learnt that angels are real as well. I did a reading for someone and I knew 100% that the message was that their angels were there for them supporting them...I knew it was a message from their angels, and felt it through the power of their angels' love for them was so strong I had tears in my eyes. I was feeling it.

Except I did not believe in angels in the least at the time I did the reading. And still I knew I had to tell them that and that that was their answer. That really threw me. I was shaking inside after a bit about how I could have a message for someone from their angels for them and to be so sure, when to the best of my knowledge at the time angels did not even exist. And yet, I knew beyond any doubt that was the answer and that that was whom it was from.

At that point, I started reading all I could about angels, and now they are a huge part of my life. I have come to believe that my Tarot answer come from them and I know they are always around me. A day doesn't go by anymore when I don't talk to them, ask for help or advice, or just thank them for their support and love and talk to them about how much I love them...

So yeah, in short, Tarot changed me a lot in that way. In fact, when I think back to who I was before Tarot, I was not even sure about G-d. Now I am sure there is one. At the time I started, I thought there probably was, but I really was not too sure.

Tarot really has been a gigantic spiritual path for me and spurred so much spiritual exploration. Just the act of reading teaches you that there IS a source in the universe that wants to help you and to answer your questions when you ask. Even taht was a big thing to learn for me.

Tarot is...wondrous.

If it is Tarot that helps you become conscious, then so be it.
