Search Question

Is it just me or is Search only available if you're logged in? I thought the thread search used to be available all the time and you only had to log in for Advanced Search now neither one is available unless I log in. Could be something I did. Has anyone else noticed this?

I just logged out - and you seem to be right. Fair enough - why should non-members be able to search anyway ?

And MAN are those ads awful.... :( The sub is worth every cent to be shot of those !

I don't know if its always been this way, but the search function was only available to members when I joined AT. If its changed, its not been a recent change.

Hi Abrac, the search function is one of the most server-intensive processes on the forum, so it's only been available to members and subscribers for some years.
