To get a jump on Valentine's Day, here's a place where you can create a tarot valentine card idea to share.
Here's how it works:
FRONT of card is a tarot card
INSIDE of card is your Valentine greeting that represents front of card.
Here's an example and how you format your post:
Front: The Chariot
Inside: "Valentine, you drive me wild!"
(If you want you can add extra info, like visuals. Front: The Chariot in big letters over a photo of someone in a pink cadillac convertible. Inside: pink hearts with whips crossing them instead of arrows piercing them arranged around the saying, "Valentine, you drive me wild!")

(A romantic figure in medieval garb is pictured holding tightly to 4 large golden pentacles and a photo frame with a silhouette of a person in it.)
Inside: "Valentine, you're all mine!"
(Little pink hearts are chained along the edges with golden links.)

Really nice cards, Guiding Cauldron!
For those just looking...and there seems to be plenty of them...maybe you can borrow some of these ideas to make Valentine cards and make your Valentine's Day really special this year? For those on the verge of adding a card here...please do! Your interpretation of a Valentine sentiment may be just the thing to tickle someone else's fancy and get them to make a card, and we'll all have a good time. I've seen lots of great poetry on the AT site, hope to see some (more) of it on this thread!

So the point is to create a tarot valentine, but not one you intend to exchange? The exchange part might be rather awkward!!

Well, there is an exchange, but I don't see that it would be awkward for anyone, esp. since it would be mostly anonymous except for those who want to sign theirs.
You create the valentine as a generic. Think of what you wouldn't mind receiving from someone in the tarot group as a valentine keepsake. When you get to our Maitland meeting, drop it into the collection bag/basket, or whatever we're going to use. Then at some point during the meeting, we pass the collection thingy around and each person draws a valentine out at random as a keepsake to take home. We keep it clean and perhaps whimsical or humorous, and decorate it however we want. It should be a fun experience to both make and receive, not a chore, anonymous so no judgements. For other ATers, they can send theirs to AT buddies or share with their tarot communities.
