rituals/prayers to find crystals

Hi gang,
I am going to Hot Springs to dig crystals here in a couple of months, and wondered if anyone has ever done this; is there a ritual or prayer to the earth spirits to find the proper crystal, or to give thanks for the crystals? Or, is there a book where I could find a ritual like that?

i would ask my guides, the four directions, mother earth(and/or 'powers that be') to please give me assistance. then i would use a natural quartz crystal pendulum. (easy to make yourself). i think its a good idea to give thanks anytime you get spiritual assistance.

what works best for me is to squat low to the ground so that the pendulum is a few inches from the earth, then let the pendulum point the way. as it swings back and forth, i usually feel it tug one way more than the other. others have success using their pendulums over a map.
