Any significance to being drawn to a particular card?

I purchased my first and only deck, the Connolly Tarot, because I really liked the images on the cards when I looked at them online. I've been particularly drawn to the images of both Nine of Pentacles and The Fool.

Image of The Fool: http://www.tarot.com/tarot/decks/index.php?deckID=67&cardID=0

I've wondered if there's any kind of significance to why I am particularly drawn to these two cards, especially as I've tried to think why I like the images so much and I'm not quite sure. Does anyone else have a card or cards in a deck they're particularly drawn to, and does anyone have any opinions on possible significances of this?

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but if it has, I'd appreciate a link to the already-existing thread.

I just found this similar post:

I like the idea of maybe doing a reading on why I am attracted to these particular cards.

I'd still like to hear some opinions on the possible significance of really liking a particular card, if anyone's willing, or any stories of cards you were drawn to and maybe why you thought you were.

okay, here's what I'll do if I'm you..re-check the reasons I'm so drawn to these 2 cards and what had actually drawn me to the cards..name them, jot them, read them, look at the cards again, make note amendments(if any) and basically we know that pentacles are more of the earth elements and The Fool's like a free spirited child..what do I personally think these two cards are trying to tell me then? Is this helpful to you? :)

I agree, look at the cards, see what it is that is appealing to you, color, etc. then look at the meaning and see if it tells you anything you need to know.
there are certain cards in every deck that I like more then others.

Okay, those ideas make sense. :)

I think most of us do have that kind of preferences when it comes to "being especially drawn to" certain cards in a deck..and we'll be amazed how it just carry on with every other deck or maybe just every now and then. You'll come to enjoy exploring each and every card from a deck when you have the time to do so. As for me, those cards which I was more attracted to in the first 2 weeks with a new deck may alter in the next 2 weeks..it doesn't matter as long as I'm feeling comfortable with the surprises..:D

I particularly always like the 3 of Swords. I have based whether or not to buy a deck on how well I think that card is done. I am not sure I want to explore why!! I always like the Aces, too.
I think it is partly because they are the least busy and most graphic, though.
I also like Tower cards.
hmmmmmmmm

What's even more interesting looking at these cards (fill in whether or not you think this is significant) but the Fool is associated to air. It is pure, without any muddling or change, action, or existence. Mix that with the 9 of pentacles which is one of the most earthy and muddled cards in the deck lol interesting combo indeed.

I believe when we are partularly drawm to a card or image it represents something we want more of in our lifes, of a quality that we want to develip more within ourselves. Or the image just reminds us of someone we love, but I think it's usually along the lines of the first two.

If you're not sure what qualities each card represents that you want more of in your life, ask.

You can always pull some cards to make sure that really is what is going on and then to ask which qualities each card represents that you are longing for more of in your life and how to go about increasing them in your life.
