Those who saw the Phoenix remember well that day...

Four of Wands represent: rebirth, escape, renewal, joy, evolution, transfiguration, vivification, security, prosperity, safety.

Four of Wands inverted represents: captivity, decay, imprisonment, abandonment, feeling used up, exhausted resources, ruin, immobility, being stuck.

Notice the Phoenix, moon, broken wall, location of Wands

The suit of Wands is connected with passion and spirituality. It is also associated with the element of fire. In the Archeon tarot, the suit often indicates a more feminine perspective than in traditional Tarot.

The gate tells me there's a definite sense of being a victim of one's own success here. It's more than just the normal prosperity...there are elements of 4 cups and 9 pentacles thrown in. The prosperity is purely financial and given the way it isolates you the soul does not prosper.
