ever dream about tarot?

chrissydogz

like one time i dreamt of seeing the 5 of pentacles, didnt look like the one in most decks though, more like the old fashioned decks where the minor arcana contains little or no imagery(much like my egyption deck)and on the bottom of the card it said"rewards". dont know why it would say that since the 5 of pentacles is definitely not a card i associate with rewards. i associate the 5 of pentacles with grief, rejection, being left out in the cold, being turned away by someone who should have been helping, being shunned, ect. come to think of it that is a card that turns up alot when i do readings for myself and i can kind of understand the reason for that because i do have some fears that reflect the symbolism behind the 5 of pentacles. another dream i had was a sexy one involving the knight of cups. this dream started out with me standing somewhere, couldnt really tell where it was but everything was white and overwelmingly bright and i was dressed in a white dress or gown. next thing i know i see the young man depicted on the rider-waite knight of cups, holding the cup and everything and he just hopped off his horse and handed me a white rose. i hesitated for abit then said"thank you...why would you give me this?. he just smiled at me and after a long pause said"you needed it." his voice sounded so calm and sweet and although i was still confused i wasnt about to argue with a guy for bringing me a gift lol. he removed his helmet and he was just so handsome. he had long dark hair(not really long but alittle longer than most men would allow their hair to grow,im a sucker for long haired guys by the way)and brown eyes. at this point im just oggling over him and getting tingly feelings and i also felt a sense of calm and trust with him. from then on we talked and them came the sexy part...lol. what do these mean and has anyone had similar dreams?.

<grntly> There have been lots of threads about Tarot dreams.

Tarot can mean as many different things in dreams as it can in readings, ie, infinite meanings. basically, look at your dreams and muse on how they might fit into your life, as you do with a reading.

The "search" function works well here. The one at the top of the page isn't as good as the one at the bottom of the page: if you use that bottom search link and type in "dream" and select "talking Tarot" sub-forum, you will get many, many interesting threads up, including one that is still current.

Hi chrissydogz,

I have found over time that I dream about anything that I study intensely. Right at the moment I don't dream tarot dreams because I have been doing it so long perhaps it isn't that intense for me. I do think about situations in tarot imagery though.

Thanks for fetching up those links nisaba.

Carla

I have never dreamed about characters from tarot, but I have dreamed about shuffling cards, doing readings, and thinking and talking about tarot.

If one of those threads is more appropriate to what you want to discuss, by all means! It's always a joyful occasion when an old thread is "woken up" and enlivened with new insights. It needn't be necessary to pull this one down, though - it can stand as a pointer.
