Okay, this is another "tarot deck that I dreamt about" topic, but this time I know the deck doesn't exist. I just have to get all of this down before I forget about it.
I just woke up from a nap, and I had this dream that I received this tarot deck. It was called (surprise surprise) "The BDSM Tarot". Here's what I remember about the deck:
Suits: Whips (Cups), Knives (Swords), Dildos (Wands) and Handcuffs (Pentacles - probably because of their shape).
The art style looked something like a cross between The All Hallow's Tarot and the Gaian Tarot. Some cards seemed to be more photographic, but I'm not sure if it was a photographic deck, maybe the artist was just that good.
Some of the cards I remember:
The Fool - a woman standing outside a windowless building. She appears nervous and is clutching a bag through which the viewer can just see a dildo and a bit of a pair of handcuffs. The door in front of her is thrown open and a hand is beckoning to her, as if to say: "Don't be frightened, cross the threshold, you're safe." The LWB informs us that the woman is about to attend her first "play party" and the one doing the beckoning is her partner.
The Magician - a man standing in front of a table that holds all his "tools" (the suit symbols). He appears to be stroking his chin, as if to say: "Now, which one should I use next?" If he has a partner, s/he isn't shown in the picture.
(skipping ahead a little)
The Lovers - a man and a woman in bed (the woman is a redhead and the man is black-haired). The card is only showing their torsos, but we can see the rest is covered by a sheet. The couple is kissing, but not in a violent way. The LWB tells us that these two are engaged in post-scene "aftercare" (activities that act as a sort of "debriefing" after a scene, which might include "vanilla" sex).
These are just a few cards that I remember. Surprisingly, for an "erotic" deck, the nudity didn't seem gratuitous or pornographic, so I'm thinking it might have been called an "erotic" deck based on the subject matter. Not every card depicted a sex scene, and the minors didn't have the number of suit symbols in the picture. I know the few cards I mentioned sound heterosexual in orientation, but there were all kinds of couples: same-sex, femdom, at least one group. (The "group" scenario was no more racy than the "Tower" card in Gina M. Pace's "Pagan Tarot".)
I'd love to do a deck like this, but I'm not an artist, so you would all have to settle for stick figures, lol.
