How do you use Oracle to receive messages from loved ones in spirit?

Hi There,

I have Frouds Fearie Oracle, and i had an unusuall experience with a photo of my grandmother last night, which could be that she has a message for me.

How do i use the Oracle, to receive this message through the cards, is there a particular spread, a special way of doing it?

Im new to Oracle, so any advise would be wonderfull please.

You should do a search in tarot spreads - I bet someone has come up with a spread for this situation.

I can't say I have much personal experience with this, although it does interest me.

I wonder if our loved ones can pass on messages this way or if the messages come via some other form of spirit (spirit guides etc)? What I am trying to say is that the messages may be about our loved ones but not necessarily directly from them if that makes sense.

Oracles are not that different to Tarot, all cards work on the same basic principles of symbolic language. You are just using different symbols, i.e. each card system is a distinct symbolic language although there is an overlap in some cases.

To get a specific message, either read the cards in a non-positional spread or use a spread that directly addresses the questions that you want answered.

I do not have ANY experience with that, but Satori did recently a experimental reading to know how her sister (who has passed away recently) was after she crossed over. It's here. Maybe it could give you ideas?

I've done a few readings w/oracles and tarot to see what deceased family/friends had to say. i've used various spreads found here in AT specifically designed for spirit contact. they've worked well. i've also (and am a big fan of doing this), just asked "what is it **** wants me to know?" and throw out 3 cards. i have really come to like reading just 3 cards. short, simple and to the point. try it. you've nothing to lose! good luck. and, i'd have ans. sooner, but i didn't see this post till now.

Thank's CN! That's encouraging to hear that it is possible to do, i also like 3 card readings too, like you said simple and to the point. I think i'l give it an informal bash and just be relaxed and see what happen's, you never know aye. :.) xMags.
