Hi guys,
I just received a copy of the Tarot Kabalistique which I had been searching for for quite some time. Being a kaballa-enthusiast this deck was a must-have for me.
Does anyone own this deck too and would like to share some experiences about his/her work with the deck? I did not find an old thread tackeling this deck so far...dunno???
Does anyone have an english language accompanying book with the deck? My whole LWB is in French and my French, well....no comment ;).

I don't know, but is it also titled Tarot Cabalistique and does it have 72 cards...

If so, Mark Filpas did review it on pasteboard masquerade. But you might have something totally different?

Yes it is...are you doing studies where you'd recommend books on the 72 archangels or Kabbalah? I'm so much a beginner, I've got only Lon Duquette's book for a fun reference.

oh, Mari, there are sooo many books out there...it's a real challenge ;)
DuQuette is a good starter though, because he manages to turn complicated stuff into fairly understandable one....
But if you want to get a deeper insight into Kabballah and all it's entities, I'd recommend the huge volume of Godwin's Cabalistic Encyclopedia edited by David Godwin published by Llewellyn (Sourcebook Series); I think you get it via Amazon. This book so far never failed me when I had to look up something. Of course, when you need more let's say "philosophical input" you might want to check more traditional sources like Gershom Scholem's book "On the Mystical Shape of the Godhead" which explains basic concepts in the Kabbalah...when it comes to more esoteric approaches Dion Fortune's "Mystical Kabbalah" is still my favourite. She focusses on the Tree of Life, the Sephiroth and the Paths between them...so it might not be what you are looking for.
If you have further questions on these matters, feel free to pm me!!

I've been looking for a copy myself, Omeada.
In the States it's about $60, so its usage is not really widespread. Anyone have a lead on lower price for this one? :)

As Mark Filipas writes, 'Despite its name, this is not technically a Tarot deck but a pack of 72 sequentially numbered cards with astrological signs and Hebrew names'.
I fail to understand why someone wishes to use the term 'Tarot' for a deck that clearly is not such.
Personally, I also happen to disagree with falconwing when recommending Dion Fortune for an esoterically oriented text - her book is a (very good) exposition of the manner in which Golden Dawn oriented people prefer to correlate the Kircher Tree of Life and various other systems (such as Tarot) by effectively also altering what has traditionally come to them.
Fine if one is GD-oriented, but otherwise, the text needs to be read with much reservation as to fidelity to the Kabalistic tradition.
This deck is not, in any case, related to either GD-oriented thinking, nor to Tarot. Those books mentioned therefore would only further confuse the intent of the artist as presented in the deck.
