The Victory Dance Game

I was thinking a game looking at winning and losing might be fun so here are the rules:

Two cards, two words (one summary word for each card) and then the assessment - who won, who lost and why.

Here's the starter:

9 cups could have done better, but did enough to win comfortably and is happy with it.
6 wands Rx Might have been over confidant and aimed too high and couldn't sustain the effort needed to achieve the goal.

That would have been a tough one to call for me - I would have said the King on the throne would be the winner while the fool took some risks without realising what he had got himself in for, but would be ready to try again.

This feels a bit like a quiz game with the 9 cups as the resident competiter.
9 cups still holding onto the winners chair - he doesn't need to take any risks and he has just about everything he needs to hold his position.
8 wands - a lot of potential and possibilities but the lack of confident decision making meant he couldn't bring things to a conclusion and in the end he just passed through quickly, not even landing.

4 swords looks like the fallen hero who may have died in the battle but 2 of wands is the winner here - he holds the world in his hands.

7 Pents has stopped to have a think about whether the way he does things would ever be good enough, but 4 of wands is already celebrating with plans about how to spend the winnings - new house, holiday or maybe both.

9 swords may put on a brave face about losing, but when they're alone they will go over and over the mistakes they made while 10 of cups enjoys a peak experience of bliss - life doesn't get any better than this, the win was a dream come true.
