custom status?

I am having trouble figuring out how to add a custom status above my avatar. I'm currently identified as "Citizen" but I noticed someone with only 7 posts had a longer, personal description above the avatar. I looked in Edit Profile, but can't see where one would add the status.

To get a custom title, you need to be a Subscriber.
