The light purple areas make me think of lepidolite.

Very interesting (and beautiful) specimen there, kaleanna!

Hehehheehe Stormy. It is really really pretty and I took an instant liking to it when I first got it and it has a really nice feel to it. Now just need a name for it so I know what Kind of properties it has.

I don't know either, but the green and purple combining together reminds me of fluorite; you often see fluorite with those two colors. It sure is purdy, though!

I've seen low-grade nephrite (or Burmese jade) in green, purple or a combination. Hard to diagnose without seeing & feeling.

ETA: nephrite vs jadeite

The greener parts remind me of Amazonite. I have some earrings that are about the same color.

Color-wise, this specimen is connecting the Heart with the Crown.

I wonder if it's a type of ocean jasper... They come in lots of lovely colors:D:

I think it might be a combination of lepidolite and rubellite. I am still looking but found this:

Looks like you have pegged it, MCsea! :) I was going to guess lavender jade, which I've seen once at a festival, but you can actually see the very similar patterning and crystalization in those two images...

Very beautiful, kaleanna!

Yes that is the same colors of the stone that I have MC, I don't know why but I would of never pegged it for a jasper.

Thank you again everyone and especially MCsea.

This stone as MCsea has hit the nail on the head. It is indeed jasper. Some of the names this particular jasper goes by are:Harmony Jasper, Dumar Stone, Lotus Jasper, Peace Jasper, Peace Stone.

It is an awesomely lovely stone :)

Thank you linnie :) I think I have 3 or 4 different pieces of this stone. It has an awesome vibe to it and just so tranquil.

I really like the name Lotus Jasper.

ETA: When I do an image search, it brings up blue speckled specimens- many are labeled sesame jasper. Does that mean no one will have the right idea if I describe it like this?

Dumar Stone shows up as the green & white with touches of purple here

Sesame Jasper is from my understanding also known as Kiwi jasper. I am not sure why when you search for lotus jasper that it brings up the sesame(kiwi)jasper pics.

Are you using the new Melody book to find these cross-referenced trade names?
