Private Messages messed up

I am having a problem with my PMs. It shows that i have 5 PMs unread, and I do not!

I searched through here and saw where some people, such as Nisaba, had the same problem, but way more then me, (she must be more popular! ;) ), as she had over 6,000 PMs!!! :P

I followed the advice given to her by Solandia and deleted ALL my messages. both inbox AND PMs sent.

still shows I have 5 PMs. and I do not.

I logged out and back in, thinking this would help to clear them.

it didn't.

I shut my computer down completely and restarted it thinking this would help.

it didn't.

HELP!!! Please! what else can I do. every time I come on here, the number of my PMs increase by one or two more--ONLY THERE ARE NONE!!!

This has now worked for a few people.

I did that too yesterday and it worked - i just forgot to update this thread. thnx tho moonbow!

I see you too had a big number! wow! the biggest my 'number' got to was 5. :P but it was bad enough-that!
