The iPad2 with its camera, note-taking, drawing and audio recording functions is a great way to record either personal or professional readings. I wrote about some of the best apps on my blog (link via my profile) and there's additional suggestions in the comments. Essentially, via note-taking apps you can sometimes type the question, sketch the spread, record the reading, photograph both spread & querent, and email without ever leaving the app and before the querent walks out the door.
