I'm mixed on this deck. The first few times I read with it I loved it. Lots of wonderful messages, and the fairies are so saucy sweet and sage. But I seemed to lose interest in it. I'd pick it up and the fairies had nothing to say at all. I ultimately decided that I'm really not a goth fairy kinda gal, so I traded it for something I use more often.

I suspect that if you really like the artwork they'll speak volumes for you. Those precious big eyes did definately make me smile.

It's a very precious deck to me and is very accurate. Its not a sugarcoating deck. The Faeries will tell you exactly how it is!

I love, love, love it!

I'm the lucky person who got GryffinSong's deck in a trade. :D

I'm really loving this little deck! There's something about it... it's optimistic, but not in a fluffy-happy way. No. It is supposed to be a deck that balances the light & shadows in its message, and it does it quite well.

The OL&S is a deck that work with the idea that we don't wake up feeling brave everyday, that our love isn't always perfect, and that sometimes we just feel hopeless, and grumpy and tired. But the deck helps you to accept that you have both moments of light and shadows in your life, and that those need to be dealt in a healthy way.

It's very easy to read with this deck, because the booklet that comes with it is very helpful. Of course, I believe that as you use it more, you get more acquainted with the faeries and witches of the OS&L, and the booklet becomes less necessary. But it's very easy to start using this deck right out of the box, even if you never had an oracle deck before.

It's a little treasure, if you like the art style I definitelly recommed it! :D

I REALLY loved the images so I bought it and began playing with it just a few months ago...I'm really in the beginning stages of working with it and did find it 'peculiar' at first...but I did a reading intuitively and wrote down all my impressions for each card...when I checked in against the book, I found that the basic information shared was the same, there were some 'nuiances' that were different, which is fine with me! My first half dozen readings have been very good and I like the dark-and-light images!

Having had it a while, personally, I think it is too negative. Sometimes things actually go well, and this deck doesn't really have any way of indicating that.

Also, there are plenty of areas of life which it just doesn't touch upon, so if you're asking about one of those, whatever cards you draw are going to be irrelevant gibberish.

It is beautiful though, and I have gotten quite accurate readings from it (about bad things, lol). I don't use it that often anymore though.

After looking at the pictures of this deck over and over I finally got it : )

I love the artwork but the other day I took it out so I could do a reading with it......and I found the cards were so big I was having a hard time shuffling them. I would love this deck in a pocket size version.

Anyway the size is something to think about.
