I'm looking for a partner to progress in general all-around study of tarot. So I'm putting a note here in the hopes someone is interested in pairing up :) I can't seem to hold down a monogamous relationship with a deck, so IDS is out for me.

There are a few things I'm looking for in a partner. I'm flexible and if some of these aren't up your alley we can try to modify it. Ideally what I'm looking for is an active partner with whom to discuss tarot cards intimately, probably one card drawn per week- having a fresh pair of braincells to remind you of other meanings for the card you have is useful. I'd also like to do exchanges once every two weeks so that we get practice in while not attached to a reading circle. Someone interested in creating or using new spreads is also a bonus, as well as being willing to toss ideas back and forth sporadically throughout the week. Don't forget, I'd also like to be a sounding board for YOU too!

I'd expect this to run at least... 2-3 months, with the option to continue if we like each other or find new dance partners, no strings attached.

I wouldnt mind ,but a card a week sounds like too much for me right now or maybe too in depth , so maybe Im not the right guy for you , how about just using a card until we're done with it and move on to the next one? XD


if you want to study a card for a whole week Im guessing you want to learn all its qabalistic properties and zodiac relations and Im just not up for that just yet. I can get into numerology! color psycology is great too , but thats as far as Im going right now XD


and maybe you should state what your aproach to tarot is , you know some people dont do divinations , some us it for self knowledge and or meditation etc. I havent made up my mind about what I can or can not do yet.X) haha


maybe we should do a n00b study group. we just make a thread and recruit an asigned number of people , and we go card by card until we're done talking about it and ask silly questions etc. soemthing like that. like a round table so it isnt like the IDS and we talk about the diferences between our meanings and cards and aproaches and uses and beliefs etc. so we dont bother other people and get the "search for it" answer

Light discussion of a card is all that's necessary, just once during the week. It's just making sure that we discuss something tarot related at least once a week, so we both know the other is still alive and working on tarot :) It can be on any aspect of the card you like- just because I have one method doesn't mean that I don't want to hear someone else's (possibly entirely different!) perspective. It's moments like that that spark my brain and keep me moving.

Could, but I'm mostly just looking for one partner to pair up with at the moment :) There's an intensive card study group over in Using Tarot Cards single cards. Really not looking to hammer anyone into one method of study, but more have assigned communication/interaction dates so we know we're both still actively studying and share whatever interesting thoughts we've had during the week if we like.

Would you still be interested in another partner? Or does anyone else want to do this with me. I would love to do something like this with someone. I'm quite new to tarot, slowly learning the meanings of the cards and using my intuition more than anything. I will be getting some new decks soon, which will give me new perspective on the cards.

I'd also love to know more about the astrological aspect of tarot, numerology and color psychology. Just some stuff I've always been interested in.
