Custom avatars are a subscriber privilege.

But as you post more, the number of standard ones you can choose from improves. :)

In "my youth" I was a subscriber, it was gifted to me by a member and that's how I changed mine. I'd like to change it to something else but then I'll have to stick with the generic avatars (can't afford a subscription right now) because people have told me that the Eye of Sauron look like, well... the "female member"...

I got my Tarotbear avatar after I made my 500th post; it was designed for me by someone here at AT. However, that was way back when computers still had hamsters in cages as a power source ... :joke:
