Guten tag everyone!

I've been involved with Tarot on an off for about 10 years, though I still consider myself a novice. The more I delve into the cards the more intriguing and enigmatic they become. They can be shockingly literal at times, then they turn around and get elusive as all hell.

I've lurked for awhile just enjoying reading the forum for some of the great discussions (the Aces as genitals is a personal favorite ;-) ). Most of the posters here seem very thoughtful and some of you are damn near brilliant.

Truthfully, I'm always a little reluctant to join an online community due to past experiences (issues with abusive mods!!!), but from what I can tell that won't be a problem here.

At the moment, I am a bit wayward and lacking any particular direction like a lone boat adrift on the seamlessly dark ocean... so hopefully I'll be able to get myself together sooner or later.

Anyhoo, I look forward to contributing to the community and hopefully learning from some of the Jedi Masters around here... thank you.

The 'genital' thread I'm referring to is very old, maybe from '05? It was HILarious.

And the problems I encountered with some mods was their abusing their moderator privileges... it was all incredibly stupid. I don't expect any of that here because everyone comes across as very intelligent, and not at all like shriveled lunatic man children.
