Hiya! I'm very pleased to have been able to join a community this awesome. Aeclectic is simply fabulous as a resource and so much more. I have no prior knowledge of the tarot. A dear friend of mine recently gave a me Rider-Waite deck as a "Valentine's present" after getting into tarot herself. I think I might already be even more into it than her. c: I've been scouring the internet for the past week on everything- and I mean everything- I could possibly learn about these beautiful cards.

I can't say I've been much touched by the more esoteric ideals presented, but I've really been enjoying the thought-provoking, self-exploration part of reading the tarot. and I hope to learn a lot from you all.

Welcome! I use them for self-exploration as well and they have really helped me step outside myself! And this forum IS totally addictive, watch out!
