Greetings from India! I am not exactly new here but... I am back after a long hiatus! I am so thrilled to be here, to be able to share our love and knowledge of the tarot and I am honoured to be on this beautiful spiritual journey with each and every one of you. Thank You.
Namaste Girl Archer and welcome back. Nice to have you on board! What is Garden City by its Indian name? Sounds lovely.

Hey Hemera! :) "Garden City" is really another name for Bengaluru aka Bangalore. Though it sadly no longer remains the beautiful green city that it once...
Oh, I know where that is. My dad was in Bangalore once and I´ve seen pictures from there. I think it still looks lovely:)
Hello and welcome back....though I don't remember you from before!
I used to want to see the whole world, to go everywhere - but I have since pared down my list of places to less than a handful....and India is still one of them.

Hemera and Bhavana, hello! :D Wow, you should definitely come down to my city some time. Hey Hemera, was your dad here on business or on vacation? I am sure he must have spoken of the culinary delights such as the Masala Dosa? You must have it if you ever come here! bhavana, your name sounds like you have Indian roots right? If I may ask, what part of India do your folks hail from?

No, my name is not Bhavana. It is the very ordinary and waspy Jennifer. I have an Indian friend whose name is Bhavana, and I always thought it was so pretty that I have used it as my "online" name for years. It also is not very common, so I don't have to keep seeing "name already taken" when I register, or call myself Bhavana34,566,994, like I would if I used the name Jennifer. I also occasionally use my great grandmother's name, Geslina, which is another uncommon one. I am very incognito when I am online.

My dad was there on business a long time ago. He said they got a special foreigner menu that was just very mildly spiced. Or supposed to be. He said it was hot for his north European palate nevertheless :P

Lol! That is usually the case my cousins from DC too.. Usually they adapt within the first week and are soon having all manner of street food and spicy stuff, much to their folks' chagrin :P Your dad must have experienced that because all the dishes here are "Indianized" or served with an extra "tadka" of masala. For ex, even the pastas here are pretty fiery and I am not even talking of Arabbiatta (did I spell that right?)
