Hi. I'm entirely new to this forum. I found it while searching for websites about tarot and this seems like a great place to learn more about the cards and meet other people who read the tarot. Well let me tell you a little about myself - I'm a 26 year old guy from Northern Ireland, UK. My first name is Peter. I am in a relationship with a 28 year old guy called Lawrence and that's been going on about 10 months. Being in a serious relationship has unlocked something in me that was probably there before but maybe I lost it - a sense of something deeper, a spiritual awakening of sorts. I was deeply fascinated by all matters spiritual as a child and a teenager, tarot and astrology being just two things, but I seemed to have lost that somewhere along the way. It wasn't until December 2011 that I rediscovered the tarot and I did my first reading. I got a starter tarot pack (Zerner-Farber) and since then I've started collecting tarot decks, doing readings for myself and a couple of close friends. I've even started sleeping with some of my favourite decks under my pillow. I feel deeply connected to the cards in a way that is entirely new to me. So far I have collected six decks - Rider-Waite, Zerner-Farber, Marseilles, Egyptian, Visconti-Sforza, and the Golden Tarot. Tarot has shown me ways to improve my life - the cards don't lie to me. As a young adult, in my early 20s, I was very skeptical about any kind of spirituality or divination. Now I feel that I've discovered something in the tarot that makes me see life and myself much more clearly. I find it to be indispensable. So it's only natural that I wanted to join a forum like this to get to know others who do tarot and hopefully learn a lot from you. By the way, my other interests include meditation, Buddhism, astronomy, astrology, cosmology, music, and poker. I belong to no religious denomination and I consider myself agnostic/atheist. If I belong to any religion it is Buddhism or spiritualism. I have pretty liberal political views :)
