View Full Version : lenormand order
guys, i have a real quick question.
im trying to help my friend learn how to read lenormands and does anyone remember how the order goes?
i read in madame seaqueen's book that the cards to the right explains the previous card. This was when she was explaining the GT. does sylvie do this too and if so it does that only refer to the cards in the past position or does that apply to the cards in the future position too? does anyone remember? i looked in the SLO but couldnt find the answer
so for no a lay, pretend someone pulls:
Charged card: man
mice+mountain+man+child+cross
would that be read as anxiety due to isolation and the later cards maybe sadness due to a child?
i completely forgot..i know how i usually read it but i dont usually use the following card to explain the previous card. I usually use the previous card to explain the following card.

I am not understanding your question....
First I need to know the cards you pulled pertain to what question? It is very important ..If you are describing a man? Or is it a question about a certain situation?
If you are describing a person I would say, he is a big or stalky guy, immature and a bit on the pessimistic side..
If you are talking about a situation.. I need to know..especially with the no lay out.. If there is a child involved or not?
It could be someone stressed caused they have been stuck in a certain situation and there will be some new problems/ or small matters that will make it worse....... It can be interpreted many ways... This is only one..
There is a whole section under SLO here you can go through ..
I hope that helped a bit:)

to be honest, i dont ever remember sylvie saying that the card to the right described the preceeding card so its probably not something she teaches. i probably picked that up from someone on AT and figured that maybe it was a common technique because Madame sequeen also mentioned it..but obviously not in the context of the no lay out.
and you're right, i should have connected that spread to a question...i didnt really have a question though i was just trying to think of an example and it wasnt a very good example.
hi
the technique is used in combinations, you can read the cards as a narration as well, everyone has their own style, but in a combo
Card 1+ Card 2
Here card 1 is the main card and card 2 takes its context from card 1. Card 2 is the attribute/adjective/modifier for card 1
e.g
Heart + Child = New love
Child + Heart = a lovely child
