I've been reading these forums for the past few days and I can't tell you what sort of poster I'll be - probably a coming and going one - but I thought I'd introduce myself in the new people section.
I have had my tarot deck for approximately 9 days (New Mythic with Liz Green) and I have had some pretty powerful readings for myself so far. I think my experience with astrology (2 years heavy study) helps, but there are some things I am not immediately comfortable with concerning the Tarot, like how to read reversals. Well, this deck says that it doesn't do reversals, but I've read about others who own a version of this deck that does, so whatever.
In any case, I believe that there are profound and powerful messages that are accessible through the Tarot, and I'm looking to study this in depth, even if I just keep it as a hobby. Not much is surface-dwelling for me (lunar scorp, what can I say?), and this is no different than any other journey inward I have embarked on, or any less rewarding. Hard as hell, but it wouldn't be rewarding if it were easy, right?
I look forward to exploring this forum further and I am (I must admit), a bit intimidated by the combined centuries of experience offered here. I hope I can keep up!
Here's to the ride.
