"Like" button

I'm reading so many posts that I agree with or enjoy, but have nothing further to add to the conversations other than to say, "I like what \she/ said"...

Wondering if the mods have the ability to allow "likes" on posts? Or is it there, but I'm not seeing it?

I really wouldn't like to see 'like' buttons here and no, we haven't got them :).
I think this is meant as a forum where discussion and learning are encouraged. Adding 'like' buttons would mean that lots of people just clicked 'like' and didn't elaborate on that. What can you learn from a load of 'likes'?
I'd hate to see this forum become more like Facebook and I think that encouraging people to like something but not add anything to the conversation is going down that route.
