as some of you already know, i started an exchange thread over here (http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=173245) because i needed some good vibes/prayers for a situation i was having. it's been going *really* well and again i thank you all for your loving energy!
anyway, this thread started to grow and i began to get a lot of positive feedback-- both on and off thread-- regarding the purpose of the thread. a lot of members suggested that we could perhaps find a way to make this type of thread a permanent addition to the forum for those seeking such a thing. however, i discovered that such a thread DOES exist now here (http://www.tarotforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=143)! :) but, i know not all of us can access this members-only section, so i thought perhaps we could add *another* thread to the mix, this time making it more of a "game" themed thread.
so, with the inspiration from Druid11, i decided to open a games thread here for anyone looking for some added prayers in conjunction with their readings. i was hoping it would work like this:
1. the "flow" of the thread would work like "ONE CARD / ONE SENTENCE" game thread where you'd read the question for the person above you who just posted.
2. however, since this is a "prayer/good energy" exchange thread, the *manner* in which the questions are asked should be as such always: "advice on how to handle [fill in the situation]." basically, i want these questions to relate back to the prayer you're requesting. it's kind of like the GOOD NEWS game thread... you only ask GOOD NEWS themed questions there. so here, it will be the tarot ADVICE thread... for those of us looking for ADVICE as well as prayers/positive energy for our situations.
and that's that! so to put it in simple terms, this thread is basically the ONE CARD / ONE SENTENCE game thread plus the GOOD NEWS game thread, however the prayers/good energy vibes are done on the honor system. state your question, "advice on [whatever your situation is], please?" then state in detail or in vague terms what you need prayer/positive energy for. the next person to post will answer your Q, say a prayer/send good energy/what have you, and then write their own Q and advice request as well. and that's it!
i'm hoping that those who participate will not only "pray" for the person's question they are reading for, but also perhaps see other posts and keep those people in mind too.
anyway, let's start this off and see if gains in momentum at all. since i'm posting first, i'll have to throw out the first question:

to the person responding to this, i would appreciate a prayer to help me develop better self-control and discipline so i may reach a healthier body weight. thank you in advance.
