Hello everyone, just to let you all know that I changed my user name from Aquarian-eye to aquarianmist so that it matches my wordpress blog. My first question for the forum is:
Where did the meaning of each individual card originate? Research suggests it may have been the Gypsies who were using the standard deck for divination long before the tarot was used for this purpose in the eighteenth century. Or was it occult practitioners who formulated the meaning of each card? Or did they use the Gypsy meanings for the 4 suits and formulate a new set of meanings for the 22 trumps?
