A Tiny First Step

Rhoswen

In various casual conversations over the last 6–7 months I've shared with other choir members the fact that I've become "tarot obsessed."

Last night someone as if I'd do a reading for her!

"You know that I'm just a beginner," I reminded her.

"That's OK," she said. "I really would like you to do it."

Whooo-hoo!

I'm honored and excited! And I have a few butterflies, too!

Does anyone have any words of wisdom to share with me?

The above responses are all right on the money.

More than most other things you could learn, you become a good Tarot reader by doing it - over and over and over! Reading about it is fun, but get out there and do as many readings as you can. If you have any knack for this at all you will be amazed how quickly you will progress!

And don't be 'afraid' that it isn't going to go well. Remember, divination is an inexact art. Sometimes the energies and connections are solid, and some days they are off a bit. Either way, if you just read what you see in the guards and go with your intuition, their is no way you can be 'wrong'.

Enjoy!
