i hav'nt done much online research about the card back design of the thoth...i'd appreciate anyone explaining its symbolisms...

Duquette wrote a whole chapter about the Card Back in his new book about the Thoth deck _Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot_.

The card back was based upon the Rose Cross Lamen, the more detailed design can be found here:

Do a search for it, it is festering with symbols, and can actually be used as half a key for the entire Tarot.
