I also have the Witches Runes, which was a demo deck from my tarot shop and has holes punched in the corners because it used to be on a chain. I don't have the book for it, but I love the artwork.
Then I have Sylvia Gainsford's Rune Vision cards--I love her artwork so much and also have her two tarot decks. The book has a lot of mythology in it which I like. I was doing a draw with the Tarot of the Secret Forest--the King of Swords--and I had to find the Rune Vision card for the god Vidar--his legs and foot are in the same position as the King's and in the original black and white sketch on the back of the King card--it really does look like he's wearing an iron shoe. I find it fascinating when I find echoes of one deck with another.
One of the reasons I like Brian Partridge's artwork is that it looks like an old society, and yet humanizes the people--they aren't caricatures of warrior-like tribal people. With my other two bright rune decks, it provides a detailed, unusual comparison.
Oh I forgot to say, another exercise I have done with these is to lay out the three corresponding cards from the decks and then put my physical rune with the corresponding symbol on top. It makes rather a textured, layered meditative picture for the day.
