uk tarot readers?

Hey,
As a newbie to the forums there may be one, but i've noticed that UK people seem to be a minority, perhaps we could have our own little forum topic thingy so we can post up events or cheapy uk sites etc?

I know its cheeky only having just moved in here but thought i'd give it a go

There are quite a few people here from the UK, so you're not alone! ;)

Check out the Advertisements (http://www.tarotforum.net/forumdisplay.php?forumid=42) forum, people post events there from all over the world, so you might find something there near you as well. Posting is restricted to subscribers (http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/subscribe.html) though.

Think I'd rather stick with everyone else, I don't see any need to segregate people because of where they come from.

I agree - I really enjoy the fact that the boards cover such a wide geographical area, and we can share tarot ideas across so many national and cultural boundaries.

I seem to remember though, that some people who lived near each other in the States recently started organising some meetings among themselves via the forum....I read it and I'm not a subscriber so it couldn't have been done via a subscriber only forum. Does anyone remember which board was used? If Inanna_tarot wants to suggest UK-based meetings, then maybe this could be a mechanism?? Was it "Talking Tarot" (can't search myself at the moment - apologies)?

For UK-local oriented things, you may wish to check out the Tarot Association of the British Isles (TABI) forum at

and the TABI discussion list on yahoo at

The TABI yahoo list looks busier than the TABI forum. However, the yahoo list is restricted to TABI members, while the forum is open to all.
