Rusty Neon
Our galaxy has a name which goes back to ancient times: The Milky Way. However, does our solar system have a name? It certainly should. However, a quick tour on the internet indicates that maybe our solar system doesn't have a special name. That's strange, especially since our galaxy has a name.
It seems that if there is a name, it's simply The Solar System and the context makes it clear. The expression "our solar system" can be used in a pinch when there are references to other solar systems.

P.S. I realize that I have been presumptuous in thinking we're all from the same galaxy. After all, membership in Aeclectic Tarot is open to all.
