Taurus and Scorpio

My 3 year old son is a Taurus and my 4 year old daughter is a scorpio, they fight quite a bit and Im wondering if it could be a clash in signs. Could anyone shed some light on this?

Are the days close? They could have opposing suns which generate a lot of energy! Even so, the opposing signs can bring up conflict. Scorpio is very deep emotionally, very secretive and mysterious while Taurus is much more straightforward and focused on the material things in life (which may seem superficial to a Scorp). Both do have things in common - a possessive streak, an enduring strength, a need for security.

My sister and I have our suns in Cancer and Capricorn respectively. We used to fight a lot, very intensely but when we became older we became very close. She is probably my best friend now. So opposites can work very well.

well its funny because they are very close in a way. Whenever my son goes to his dads house my daughter cries for a little bit after he leaves. What do you mean by days being close?

quick reply! Basically, w/o drawing up a synastry chart, if they share the same day or close day (e.g. Nov 3 and May 3) you can ascertain that their suns are in opposition. (I'm not 100% on this though, so best to draw up charts to be sure)

No there days are quite far apart. My sons is May 11th and my daughters is October 30th. So about a 19 day difference.

Scorpio and Taurus are definitely polarities, though they do share qualities like Isthmus Nekoi suggests and are part of the same energy axis. They can be very complimentary energies to each other too...not only polarized and frictional

And you are a Leo? If so, there is a natural square between Leo and Scorpio, and Leo and Taurus. They are the fixed signs of the zodiac, the 4th being Aquarius..WOW

It would be most interesting to see all 3 of the charts together...

Well the basics...my daughter is a Scorpio with a Leo moon and a Gemini ascendant. My son is a Taurus with a Capricorn moon...and I have no idea what his ascendant is...but he definatly has the qualities of an earth sign.

I enjoy the company of both the Taurus friends and Scorpio friends I have! I seem to get along with them both famously. Maybe it's something to do with my being a Pisces. I don't know. I appreciate earthy signs as much as other water signs. It's interesting that way.

Watch out for the Full Moon on 4th May then miss_apples....with the Sun in Taurus and Moon in Scorpio and what with a total lunar eclipse as well in Scorpio.... there could be even more fireworks than usual! :laugh:

LMAO! Well my son will be at his dads during the full moon so I dont have to worry about it. lol!

A possible scenario:

As they grow up, you might have to work as wise leader. Your Taurus son might be stubborn and materialstic, and choose a life that your daughter see as boring. Though he might be too proud to accept your daughters thoughts and feelings, he will be very kind and protective to her. He will feel a need for emotional ties though he, both as a man and a taurus, won't admit his feelings...

Your daughter will be emotional and secretive, and might look at her brother with mixed feelings. She might see him as superficial, and even envy his achievements. She could hate him on the surface, but deep down behind the scorpio shell she really loves him and admires him.

Your job, as the leading leo, will be to raise the taurus to respect others opinion and see that he doesn't sit on the very truth, while your daughter need to cope with her deep feelings and feel loved and respected.

I finally found out my sons Ascendant...he has Taurus ascendant. So a Taurus sun, Capricorn moon, and a Taurus ascendant...wow..a lot of Earthyness. LOL...I can already see it. My daughter and I will be reading tarot cards and reading metaphysical books and he will be rolling his eyes at us....lol.
