Over the last few days I've noticed grasshoppers everywhere. In unusual places. One even jumped on me in my lounge room. I'm quite sure it's some kind of sign, but what do grasshoppers represent. What is the symbology behind them?

I have noticed heaps of mayflies here...
It must have something to do with the weather, and how the change in the earth's temperature is changing it...???
no i don't, but many of my students call themselves grasshoppers.
so are you becoming a student of something?
or perhaps a teacher?

doesn't that grasshopper as student thing come from the old t.v. series; kung fu?

Ummm...just to earth the debate here, it might be symbolic of.....*fanfare*...
SUMMER!.....
but in terms of spirituality, I don;t know....
All i can offer, is that perhaps, the grasshopper is being directed as your current totem?....It happened to me with crows...

Oh, my goodness Amyel- you are an angel. There right in front of me is the meaning of grasshoppers as animal spirits.
they refer to leaps of faiths, jumping across space and time, jumping without knowing where you will land.
Looks like it's time for a fools journey!

Please don't hate us! Give us your pity. First we have to reverse the seasons, then we have to account for the different movement of the sun (this can really mess around with the elements). Sheesh, life can be tough *giggle*
It's a good thing we are the incredibly intelligent, oh so wise, slightly wacky people that we are. Really!! We are.....

A plethora of Grasshoppers, (Locust wannabe’s) mean free food. Very edible, lightly fried, with a bit of soy sauce. Quite tasty.
