This will be a general, 7-card reading for SongDeva.....
Basically, I am following the guidelines given in the book, and will be reading the cards almost as a sentence, from left to right. I find that these types of readings work better with the Titania cards than some of the more "structured" spreads, such as the Celtic Cross. When I read for myself with these cards, I am more likely to just pull three or four cards, lay them out side by side and allow them to tell me the story...
My question might be something very general, such as:
What do I need to focus on at the moment? or
What does Spirit want me to know right now?
Of course, there are times when I want to know about something more specific, and again, laying the cards out in this manner usually gives me more than enough information to address the question and give me insight into the future....
I hope that this reading will do the same for you, SongDeva....
I am going to read the cards primarily through intuition--listening to what each card is telling me at the time of the reading. I will also refer to the book as needed, for additional information but... if there is a discrepancy between my "gut" and the book....I am going with my gut, LOL!!! (just FYI for those who use this deck and notice that my interpretations might be slightly off in places).
THE CARDS:
1--Coffin
2--Moon
3--Woman
4--House
5--Snake
6--Mountain
7--Book
1--Coffin: OK....this is not as bad as it looks, LOL!!!
The Coffin card in this deck reminds me of the Death card in a tarot deck...it rarely indicates an actual "death"...instead, it signifies a time of change and rebirth. You have just completed an important transition in your life, and are now ready to move on to something new....it feels positive to me.
2--Moon: The Moon is a card of mystery, looking beyond what is obvious and trying to see beneath the surface. There may be some unknown or unexpected influences that are creating tension in your life. This card also reminds my of the cyclical nature of life...it may take some time to work through a problem, to move from darkness, or fear of the situation, toward a more enlightened place.
3--Woman: Now...because I know that you are female (right? ;) )....I am going to suggest that this card represents you in this reading. You are standing in between the Moon and the House...so I believe that you are currently going through a change in your home situation...either a change in housing (literally--where you live) or possibly some type of family conflict.
I believe that this is the central issue for you right now, and that the next three cards will provide further insight into that issue.
4--House: Again....this card may represent either a housing issue or something related to your home/family situation. Because this looks more like an older, colonial-style house, I am thinking that the conflict may involve you and your parents...not sure though.
5--Snake: The Snake is about secrets...someone who is able to move quietly without being detected. There is a person in your life that you need to keep an eye on...be cautious about who you are confiding in. The Coffin card reinforces this feeling for me...it is a warning...be vigilant. Not sure if this relates to the family conflict or not...
6--Mountain: The Mountain is a positive card....here it is telling me that there are obstacles to be overcome, but I can see that you have already begun to climb...and you are not looking down, or behind you...but straight ahead! "Nowhere to go but up" is what you keep telling yourself. You are focused on the future and I believe your goals are realistic.
7--Book: The Book represents your outlook right now....knowledge and power. It tells me that you are headed in the right direction, and that you can visualize yourself being successful. It might literally indicate a desire to move forward with your education, or possibly a work promotion. Whatever it is that you have set your sights on...will soon be within reach.
Well SongDeva....there you have it!!! :)
I hope that this reading will be helpful to you....and I really enjoyed taking out my Titania Fortune cards again! They really are amazing tools....I am sure you will enjoy reading with them!
Thanks again....looking forward to your feedback!

Yes. Yes yes yes. My life in the past was fear, clinging to the past, holding on to hurt, holding myself back. I've just been through a transition to change this to being in the moment and looking toward the future. It felt like a death, so perhaps in part this is why I resisted so long. lol There was fear about letting go of my identity as I knew it. The weekend of the 18th I can point to as when I was reborn into a new, truer identity that better represents who I am now.
2--Moon: The Moon is a card of mystery, looking beyond what is obvious and trying to see beneath the surface. Intuition, going within, all have been part of my life recently, and also I recently began to pay attention to shadow work (what lies beneath!). Can you say "moon?" Also important, I've become aware of the influence of cycles and rhythms (i.e., moon) on my life (seasons too), so you hit on that.

Hmmmm....I explain the home situation in the next card. Standing between the moon...and my home. Your phrasing there was important for me. I'm standing between dreams and seeing them become reality. I've always wanted to sing, have always held myself back ( as mentioned previously). The awakening I had the weekend of the 18th was about this, and how singing is really "mine" and that I will do it if I choose it.[/b]
4--House: Again....this card may represent either a housing issue or something related to your home/family situation. Because this looks more like an older, colonial-style house, I am thinking that the conflict may involve you and your parents...not sure though.
1. I live in a big Victorian house :) with my mother, brother, and grandmother. My mother and I historically cannot peacefully coexist. We can hang out and have fun, but we can't "live" together. For the past few years, I worked during the day, and she worked in the evenings, and I frequently gave thanks for this situation, because I knew it was the only reason I could stay there during this time of financial challenge. Now, she has accepted a job that means a big step up for her career, and will be working in the day and home in the evening (in fact, has started this schedule although she hasn't started the job yet). So I've been very aware that this reprieve is coming to an end. And I know that the changes coming into my life will have to do with where live as well.
5--Snake:The Snake is about secrets...someone who is able to move quietly without being detected. There is a person in your life that you need to keep an eye on...be cautious about who you are confiding in. The Coffin card reinforces this feeling for me...it is a warning...be vigilant. Not sure if this relates to the family conflict or not...
This confused me quite a bit. I've gotten this message before. I asked my guides just now and they say it's not a person, but a warning against self-sabotage. "watch those inner voices, speak positively and lovingly to yourself." Luna, if it's not too much, I'd appreciate your tuning in to see if you agree. I feel like this is the key to my success and a major life lesson.
Yes, I see the time I'm coming into as a time to make things happen, step into my power, and it is the start of the effort, journey, or mountain. I'm hearing "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" as I type this :) and to me that means there ain't no mountain I can't climb! :) The advice to keep my focus straight ahead makes me feel stronger about my sense of the snake, because if you're in my situation and you lose focus for a second, you start to doubt, and think yourself foolish for trying. What I want for myself is pretty amazing, and very few people get it. Oddly, deep down I've always known it was for me. Even so, I still "What? I think I'm gonna try to do what?!" Lately, every time I think that, I get confirmation that it's right and what I should be doing, like your sentence, "...I belive your goals are realistic". Gotta love the flow!
"...you are headed in the right direction...." Yet more confirmation, thank you. Interestingly Luna, your phrasing of the rest of that sentence is important, because visualization is important in this process. It was advice my guides gave me months ago, and got the process started. "Whatever...you have set your sights on...will soon be within reach." There it is again. And I still can't quite believe it. LOL But I do believe it strongly on a deep level. See what I mean about confirmation though?
Fabulous reading Lunabadoona, and very helpful. I'm gonna come back and read it again in a bit. Can't wait to return the favor when I get my deck!

OK SD....I am looking at the card again now....I am trying to figure out exactly how the snake applies to you right now. Because it is next to the Mountain, I believe this means that it is one of those things you will need to "get over" in order to keep moving ahead, higher, toward your goals. Do I think this has to do with lacking self-confidence??? Yes, that is part of it....but I do still sense that there is someone else in your life who may be sabotaging your efforts. I think it is being done in a very subtle way, however...in fact, he/she may not even consciously realize that they are doing this....does that make any sense??? What I mean is this: there may be someone close to you who is jealous of your successes or abilities....this person may pick up on your insecurities and send subtle messages to weaken your confidence. Again...probably a subconscious thing, not someone who really "wants" to hurt you....pay attention to people around you, and also your own tendency for self-sabotage. Self-awareness is going to be important for you right now....

Absolutely SD....the Mountain here is VERY positive, very confirming...I see you putting the snake behind you, all of your fears and doubts....you have worked hard to get to this point in your life, and now things are finally coming together....you need to start trusting yourself that you are finally on the right path...and it sounds to me like you are ready to believe in yourself!
"...you are headed in the right direction...." Yet more confirmation, thank you. If you like, take this info and tune in again (isn't this fun):
I would guess that this person is my mother.

I would agree with your assessment, SD.....she may not be doing this intentionally but....as I said, it is very subtle...she may be somehow afraid of seeing you succeed...it may be that she has regrets of not having gone after her own dreams....
Am I getting warmer here??? :)
This is a very interesting process....isn't it???

Interesting.....quite.
Actually, you were dead on the first time...she's just jealous.
Not her dreams so much but who she is and who I am....personalities, talents....on some level it would really get her goat to see me be who I want to be. I know its not all of her, but it is pervasive, and a major factor in the way I talked myself out of moving on.
I think it's not only our personalties and what not, but also that if I succeed and leave, she'll be alone.
