The "Ignore" function

If I put a forum member on my Ignore list, the existence of that member's post is still exists in the thread I'm reading. That is, the thread still shows the name, date/time of their post and the notation "This person is on your Ignore List. To view this point, click here."

Is there some way to get a more robust 'Ignore' function, whereby the thread doesn't show the ignored person's post at all: not even name, date/time of the ignored person's post and that notation?

It's not a regular feature of the forum software, but I think it's possible. I'll see what I can do.
