View Full Version : blue goldstone
I picked some polished stones up on the weekend. Blue goldstone was one of them. The stone is dark blue with sparkles in it.
Has anyone used this stone?
Thanks for any info.
I can't tell you what to do w/ them, but I can tell you it's not an actual stone. A girl I bought some blue goldstone jewelry from told me it's black glass w/ copper powder mixed in. Now, it looks blue to me, but maybe mixing the copper in has something to do w/ it. I love them anyway. Heck, glass is sand which is finely ground rock & copper is natural. I'd be curious to hear what others who are sensitive to energies have to say about it. I work too much to take the time to develop any sensing at this point.
It looks like the night sky with lots of stars in it, like you get way out in the country. I get a peaceful feeling from it, like you get on a campout on a summer night under the stars. Nice for meditation. Proof that manmade stones are not all bad.
It also comes in green, as well as the more common orange-gold.
I have heard the original goldstone was invented accidentally while some alchemist was trying to synthesize gold.
Hi, Ros. I just found this old thread while looking for something else.
