Lately the number 11 seems to be popping up all around me. I look at the clock, it's 11:11. The number itself is not my favorite, and I've had this happen with other numbers before. I feel like the number is trying to tell me something, but I don't know what. Play lotto? Usually clocks seem to be where I notice it quite a bit. Mean anything, or just coincidence? Any help would be appreciated. It literally seems to be everywhere lately. Now watch me get 11 responses.
Someone said something about 11 being a master number in numerology, but I dont know much aboutthat, wish I did since 11 is my birth number. 11 is equivalent to Justice (or Strength) in Tarot, warning about an upcoming court case? hehe Or maybe just to weigh your options carefully

In numerology, 11 is a master number. It's meaning is "Spiritual Messenger." If you have this number as your life path, expression number, or one of the others, it can mean that your spirit is here to raise spiritual awareness or communicate spiritual inspirations to people on Earth. I would ask for a numerology reading (There are tons of places on the net that do it for free.) http://www.askme.com is a good place to ask someone for free. Then you could see itf this number has some correlaiton with you, then you could go from there.

FUNNY you should mention this. I have been meaning to put up a post about this very thing.
1111 has followed me for a very long time. I have just reciently touched on it's significance. Along with 22, it is a master number in numerology. But I really don't understand it still.
Back in Oct. I was listening to the Mystic Monday show on the radio, a caller also asked about this number because it had been following her for the past couple years, I wanted to talk to her so bad..
The psychics on the show said pretty much what I expected, magical, a sign, talked of some vibration and energy..I know that it's a good thing, but can we tap into it somehow ? What is it that draws us to look at the clock at that time when we really don't CARE what time it is.
I had always wondered what's up with 1111.
I'm now 34 and was introduced officially to the number when I was 13. But I was labeled with the number when I was ...11.
here's how it went.
I'm 13. mom gets boyfriend, good guy. driving down the road, he suddenly slaps his head. "WHAT" we ask. He says, 1111. he says his brother told him one day about the number of times he sees it, moms boyfriend sympathizes and agrees, been happening to him too. so mom and I are introduced, now we experience it too often. Digging through my closet due to a move, I find my OLD girl scout troop vest. TROOP # 1111. I still have it. That was my favorite troop and favorite summer. We went for a month long travel from CA to Wyoming and everything in between.

Well I cant say that I have had a number following me around, atleast that I have noticed. The only corralation that I have with the number 11 is that I was born on an 11th. And then with 1111 was a few years ago because I was on the way to or from an airport I think and the people I was with were like its 1111 make a wish. Their reason for the wish was because it is the only time in the day that all four numbers are the same. Heh I had never noticed that before.

i don't resonate with that number but i know that new river does ;) she's off - taking some time for herself right now - but i'm sure she'd love to respond to this if she was around............
so why not meditate on the number? feel the number, let the vibration come into your entire body (you might want to do this meditation in the bath so you can throw water on yourself if the energy gets too strong for ya). take chalk and draw 11:11 all over the walls of the tub before you begin to get you into the vibration of 11.
let go and feel it..................and see where it takes you! :)

Thanks to this post, It was the kick in the pants that I needed. One of the things I've been meaning to do was a net search for 1111. I found something in a launguage I didn't understand. the seconed thing was 1111 radio/media page. I contacted the guy and asked him why he chose 1111.
he responded with "Because it seemed to pop up everywhere, so I chose it as the name of
a (public radio) program I produce."
OK so now the word POP goes along with it,
what's the title of this thread?....
now it get's more IIIIntense.
I don't know if it was planned for the sake of the topic, but the email he sent was at .....do I even need to say...11:11.
I'm awaiting another email, I'lll keep ya'llll updated.
as i iwas reading your response i thought, 'we have 1111 members' and the thought was like i knew this to be true.......so i went and looked and there it is.........1111 members and the name of this member is..........*drum roll please*..............tassetasse.............which numerologically does NOT come to an 11 fyi. (i had to check LOL) but it is a 2!!!!!

Well, I came to AT tonight and guess what caught my eye. I never really looked in that vicinity before so it's not like a habit. I saw the number of members that AT currently has, 1111.
WHEN WILL IT STOP...really I don't want it too, it's kinda cool.
maybe we should start an 1111 club. :)

Here's something really strange about me - I do not like the number 11, I'm scared of it and have been for over 20 years! ( but I feel fine about the number 13!)
If the clock says 11:11 I will not start my car, nor get into bed, nor begin various other activities! Sometimes I'll stare at the clock in a morbid fascination that seems to go on for too long, other times I will look away . I wait until it says 11:12 to do whatever. I couldn't tell you What, but there's definitely Something about that number! So, if I ever feel like exploring the strange fear/ fascination/ superstition, that website looks as good as any!

Please do explore it. With 23 years of 1111 under my belt, I have finally found something that says something about it and my hypothisis is somewhat confirmed(still more mystery though). One of the things is that when it is seen, one should STOP and take the time to reflect/tune in/ etc. I wonder what would happen in your life once you let go of the 11 fear.(consider the energy) as for 13...hehehe..
I always seem to find some sort of trouble on Friday the 13th,(or it finds me) BUT I consider it a lucky day because even though I met up with trouble and sometimes there was the potential for REAL problems, I have always been blessed with getting out of it and smelling like a rose as well...

I'm new to AT and had been slowly reading through the older messages on the board to get acquainted when this one caught my eye. What a surprise to see that my 'special number' is special to so many others! I never would've guessed that 11 (or 1111) had been turned into a 'belief system' - actually it was a bit creepy (goosebump type of creepy) to read through that web site and realize what a world wide phenom it is! I always considered it my own personal number and I'm astonished to find that so many people feel a special connection to 11.
Just thought I'd share my own personal 11 history (brief version) :) I was born on Nov. 11th (11-11), 7 pounds 11 ounces. My mom was in hospital room 111. My birth was just minutes away from 11pm and I used to tease my mom "couldn't you have asked the doctor to just wait a couple more minutes?" ;) Numerology: My birth name equals 11. My married name equals 11. I could go on and on... my husband was also born on the 11th (different month and year though), our post office box address is 11...
11 has always surrounded me and I have always felt a special connection to the number. My favorite personal 11 story is from my 11th birthday. My dad, acknowledging my funny little 11 connection decided to buy me 11 of those scratch off lotto tickets. I scratched them off and won... you guessed it! $11 :) ($5 here, $2 there until all added to $11).
Oh! And one last thing. I've always done that "11:11 Make a wish!" when I see 11:11 on a clock. I thought I invented it! :) My husband is used to it now, but used to give me strange side-ways glances. I've NEVER come across anyone who knew what I was talking about... I started it when I was very little because of my birthday - you know, like blowing out birthday cake candles. What a shock to read on that site that "school children have been doing this..." I am amazed....

11:11 ....... That number follows me ...... my birthday is on the 11th of June and I've always, ALWAYS felt a connection to the number 11. About four or five years ago I started noticing 11 every where ... on the time I would nearly always see 11:11, 3:11, 7:11, 10:11 and then I would notice the number 11 everywhere else around me like on number plates, billbords, on shops, in books even my partner's birthday is on the 11th ... quite bizare but I am completely comfatable with it now ... I feel safe around 11
I am another person who always happens to look at the clock at 11:11....so thanks for bumping this old thread

well i sometimes wake up at 7.11 but i have never bothered to see if there is any connection to anything......until i read this article by uri geller, who also has 11 following him around.

After my husband died I would always be drawn to the clock at 11:11.
Also I realized a lot of people in the family, both near and a bit extended died on the 11th of the month. Not my husband but his Mother and about 5 others. So it is very strange.

well today me and my fella were dricing along and waffling about nothing and i looked at the dashboard clock.........11.11am.
i squealed, he looked at me and i just closed my mouth and said sod all......lol
the thing that gets me is when you do the following sum - 1111x1111....you get 1234321, which is called a pyramid number.

i personally can't work out WHAT the true significance is of the number 11, but the coincidences that people report is overhwelming!
hmmmmm.......think i might write an article about it!
anyone want a mention in it, then pm your stories and experience and i'll put yer name in it.
