where to find Moon phases calander online

Salamander

Hello everyone,

I am new. I am from the Netherlands, Europe.
Does anyone know where to find moon calanders online?
I would love a calander that I do not have to visit everyday online but that I can print out.

I wonder how the phases differ from place to place, and how to make sure I have the right one.

Does anyone know?

I will sure be helped with a little help... :)

Thanks for reading,
Salamander

Moon phases -- thats easy.

I run Windows XP as an operating system. In the system tray at the lower left of the screen is a little Moon that changes slightly every day, showing me the current phase of the Moon. If I click on it, a dialog box pops up and shows me this month's moon phases and dates and the days remaining until the next phase starts. I got this from a list member about a year ago. I might be able to e-mail you the program as an attachment if you wish. It is free software to use. Dave.

The phase of the Moon is exactly the same everywhere.
The best way to visualize Moon Phases is to remember:
the Moon is always Full ~ the Sun shines directly on it,
but we see "phases" because of the angle of our views.

For every One time the Moon goes around the Earth,
the Earth spins around 28 times (thus day and night).

Full Moon: Moon opposite Sun
SUN >> EARTH >> MOON

New Moon: Moon conjunct Sun
SUN >> MOON >> EARTH

The only time the Moon is in shadow is during an eclipse.
Facing the Sun the Moon is always Full on the facing side.
