I bought a book today which was published by Llewellyn it's called " The Magick of the Tarot" by Melita Denning and Osborne Phillips ISBN 0-87542-198-9

It covers Tarot Magick, the Archetypal Code, The Language of the Cards, Personifying the Cards, Interpretations of the Arcana, Energising the outcome, Expanding the Scope and briefly on Numerology in Tarot.

It is easy light reading and rather generic without referring to a specific deck.

Thought you'd like to know about it.

This was the first book I used for learning tarot. })

I found the writing style VERY annoying but the information presented sound. Has a rather interesting Amplified Horoscope spread...

This book taught me to read the majors only and that's what I did for years. :D

hhmmm, I didn't really buy it to learn how to read..I just found it rather interesting.

I suppose though it would be very useful to a beginner.. but I found it kind of interesting...you know another perspective.
