I can't access Chat via IRC, due to corporate policy and firewalls. Is there another way to enter the chatroom? I tried the Java link here, but it never works. Any ideas?

Some of consultants that I know have their own laptop and personal connection service--same as if you have your own personal cell-phone. Since you pay for your own service, login-times, connections and do it only on your own time, people who bring their own personal laptops will do this.

Although the electrical plug outlet is the company's, the managers for these consultants do not care as long as the assignments are done on time--and the consultants we use are very good.

I heard of one person who used their laptop to log onto online traffic school sessions during their lunch break in the U.S.-- it turns out they also got a break in their insurance rates, as well.

Best regards,

You can access it from a site called CGI. Its a web based IRC program, and it works just the same. You access IRC from your browser.
