View Full Version : Sagittarius Full moon and the Sun in Gemini

Taurus energies conclude swiftly, with any loose ends being neatly tied up by mercury speeding through the bull with a charge of headstrong energy. Venus already nestled in Gemini infuses a sense of peace and harmony with chaos and disorder, it's a Gemini thing.

The full Sagittarius moon opposition will be between 3degrees Gemini and Sagittarius, the Sabian symbols for these two degrees are:

Gemini: THE CHARMING COURT LIFE AT THE GARDEN OF THE TUILERIES IN PARIS
Sagittarius: TWO MEN PLAYING CHESS

now is the time to play the class act, look the part, and make it look good while enjoying every moment of it. What may be innapropriate to one person may be commonplace to another, and thus a cycle of deconstruction of undefined expectations begins.

Another opposition comes into play at this time, Chiron is opposing the Blackmoon Lilith @ 3 degrees Leo/Aquarius. Unwelcome interventions and revelations are going to be commonplace here soon, just don't get too emotional about it and the negotiators in the situation will help resolve come sooner.

Mars and Uranus are still close to eachother in Pisces and Neptune is in Aquarius retrograde until October, expect energetic outbursts and lengthy extensions of distressed and displaced quietness..

Out of curiousity...could this be causing all the bad luck that a lot of individuals I know have been happening?? Such as in my case ..the move to CA seems to not be happening....and now I'm without a job and maybe losing my apartment (a lot of that due to my SO who needs a good whack on the head)....there seems to be a lot of negativity in the air.

Adding to what Paradoxx said, I'd figure a lot of the unease at the moment is because of the Saturn-Pluto quincunx - it's like the itch that's hard to scratch - and the authorities are demanding you scratch it. One has to work hard at finding innovative ways to relieve stress and tension.

This full moon is a doozy in terms of relationships. Venus and Mars are square and the Sun degree points to people trying to 'knock each other out of the game'.

It's bound to be an interesting time. With Saturn on Cancer 24: Two Men and a Woman (or Two Women and a Man) Castaway on a Small Island, this is a time for relationship triangles and new allegiances that wreak havoc on old ones. We can find, with this degree, that there are too many people to dance around, to take notice of or to take into account.

Blah. But, soon the Moon's North Node will go back to Aries 22: The Gate to the Garden of All Fulfilled Desires. This can provide a breakthrough and a place of entry into the next level. We may have to really figure out what or where the 'Garden of All Fulfilled Desires" is - which can be harder than it sounds!

Greetings from Sydney

LOL..sounds like my relationship with SO right now...I found the charts very interesting because everyone as I mention I've talked to is having major problems...one girl whose in a secure job is suddenly fired, the family hamster dies, another one...her hubby of 9 years walked out on her and their children...and me.....well supposed to go to CA, everythign was fine until now then BAM...now I'm without a job..scrambling to find a job...rent is due here and I myself have no money...SO is just...OMG...want to whack him on the head with a frying pan...not only waited till AFTER I quit my job to decide...oh I'm not going out there..but tries to pull the old..lets' break up act...and he's going from hot to cold that you would think HE was PMSing...

I pull cards on him and everyone else...and there's reversals and block energy...tried to make pancakes, broke open an egg and it was black.....and I'm just going...Oh My Goddess....

I'm curious....there seemed since the last full moon a large buildup of energy that has happen....I'm still new if not ignorant of astrology and hope to learn more about it...but wasn't there a comet that had come close to the earth this past month?? Is it possible this could have caused (hence the folklore of being bad omen) some negative influence on the planetary arrangements for this month?

The blackmoon (lilith) and moon node should be taken into consideration, and the node is squaring Saturn, bringing the concept of resistance into our perceptiosn of immediete destiny. Asteroid Lilith is going to be conjuncting the blackmoon lilith soon, bringing a double dose of dark crone activity into our lives.

That kind of combination would bring frustration to the best of situations.

For another angle of current activity, Neptunes retrograde is making some challanges seem more difficult than usual. check out http://www.medicinegarden.com/astrology/nept_retro051905.html

Theres quite a bit on the full moon - especially with some of the relationship stuff and some of the better breaks which are coming up. Might be some clues. Dont know about the Comet though :)

Thank you for the link..this part really jumped out for me:

uesday's full moon is quite the tester for relationships. The Symbol for the Moon is Sagittarius 3: Two Men Playing Chess. It speaks of the need to take into account the ramifications of the moves one makes and the risks one takes

This reminds me so much of the reading I did on SO using the THOTH regarding the events that have happen.....

"There are no doubt many adjustments to be made under this full Moon. Not only is the full Moon the time of biggest separation between male and female, this full Moon sports an exact Venus-Mars square, which heightens the need to seek resolution to difficult situations."

I need to find a good basic on Astrology....Makes me wonder of a few other things that caught my eye about the stars and just overall feel.

Don't forget the inconjunct b/w Uranus and Jupiter. There's a serious itch!

btw, I've written more about the Sag full moon here: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=42061

Now I usually don't look at inconjuncts (also known as "quincunx") but we have two heavy ones which may throw you off, make you feel a little more on edge. First, there's Saturn inconjunct Pluto, indicating agitation with authority figures and then there's Jupiter inconjunct Uranus which may feel like you're suddenly itching for change, surges of energy. So altogether, something of an unsettling lunation. A good time to make small adjustments but think very carefully before you start making drastic changes - don't let that edginess cloud your thinking. Plan ahead for the next new moon.

Isn't Jupiter famous for causign turmoil?? Lol..yes I really want to learn more about Astrology so I can know what I'm talking about...sorry if I sound like an idiot most of the time..

This last week I have been feeling so unsettled. I've been desperate to do something, to find some direction and instead have been meandering around feeling frustrated and restless. Would being a sagittarius (jupiter) amplify these itchy feelings at all or am I just being particularly sensitive at the moment ;)

Hmm..this was what was charted for me: Sun in Libra, Moon in Scorpio * Ascendant in Aquarius, Uranus in the Eighth House * Saturn in the Fifth House * Sun in the Seventh House * Moon in the Ninth House * Venus in the Ninth House

Being a Libra...I gotta have things balanced...

Lynda, I read your blog and the one thing that immediately jumped out at me is this:

[Italic}It speaks of the need to take into account the ramifications of the moves one makes and the risks one takes. Impulsive actions with no forward planning can lead to unforeseen problems. At it's extreme, this Symbol can show people wanting to get the better of each other - trying to 'checkmate' on another... there can be arguments and secret moves planned behind the scenes. People may want to match wits with one another, throwing down the gauntlet and facing each other head on.

It's not all bad, of course, as no Symbol ever is. This Symbol brings the possibility of 'winning' any situation you're in by taking into account all the various factors and seeing how they are going to pan out in the long run. As long as power plays don't come into close relationships, this *could* be a fun time with lots to be learnt about the consequences of one's actions.
[/Italic]

There is a major reason...going to PM you why....

In my chart, the Moon is in Sagittarius (albeit not at the 3rd degree - it is at the 12th degree). Does that mean I will be especially affected?

I am usually very affected by the full moon, but today and I am calm and happy, and enjoying the simple tangible joys of life - cheese, the mountains in the near distance, the sun.

Oh, and Gemini is my rising sign (just in case you wondered why I was such a chatterbox).

Hi Helvetica
Yes, you'll be affected by the full Moon - but it doesn't necessarily mean in a difficult way... none of this is set in stone, but there are certain flavours that are out there to be observed.

As I type this, the moon is at 18 Pisces, between Mars and Uranus. And Watery pisces bring watery emotions to the memorial weekend.

Followed by a day where the moon is void-of-course (aspect) until late in the afternoon/evenening and through the night into the morning east of Europe. Tuesday brings difficult pisces energy.

meanwhile, a t-square with Venus, Mars, and Pluto, in Gemini, Pisces, and Sagittarius is causing a lot of steam, which means a lot of distractions and facades. The elements are air, water, and fire, and are all mutable. Wind laps on water, creates waves, waves hit shore, splash, and ripple back, the collision of waves moving to the shore and away from the shore keeps the cycle going.

When the moon gets to aries, the t-square will be breaking exactness, releasing the energy so that the work that needs to be done can get done by the best qualified individuals. In the sign of the ram, the north node of the moon and Juno are what the moons body will be eclipsing. For the northnode, it is an alignment for our emotional states to reassert themselves. For juno, it places individual existance over codependency, from there, complete integrations can come into being.

Taurus, mecury has left taurus, thus another void of course afternoon/evening day, This day could be dull or it could be very active, either way, the new moon in Gemini will kick off some big changes.

Hm, turmoil isn't the first word ppl tend to associate with the planet of luck, but certainly he can be overly expansive, optimistic etc.

That would depend on your natal chart, but Uranus is going to be even more powerful w/the upcoming new moon Jun 6. It's looking wild!

Hey no need to apologize, certainly the last lunation was very "off" for many people. If you want to learn more about astrology I'd suggest reading up on the very basics. Get to know your planets, signs and houses very well. There's lots of good books in our resources thread to get you started:
