My appologies for the previous lighter side thread which was empty. Don't know how that happened. Must have been Mercury in my house of typing.

Here's a funny link "Horoscopes for other people (who aren't as nice as we are)"

http://www.pshrink.com/humor/Horscopes.html

Anyone else have any astrological humor? We sag's need our yucks. No fair posting your birth stats as a reply!!

Thanks for the link. I'm still laughing. :) The scorpio portrait looks very much like my brother. And my friend's husband is very much like the jealous sagittarius ("who invented the chastity belt" :D) and herself, being sagittarius, is terrible with money. I also know a cancer and that looks pretty much like her, I've decided, since I met her, to put cancerians in my ignore list. As for my sign, aquarius, I don't think it looks like aquarius at all, I'm afraid the author is mixing it up with some water sign. It's unfortunate, could have been funny if she would have realised it's an air sign.

I have a link here, very funny, mostly about men astrology, but as a woman, I think it fits women as well. The aquarius sign, in this one, is truly well described (as an air sign).

I'm still crying my eyes out, remembering what I read (I'm a Pisces. Of course I like to cry, I have to keep my eyes clean. And I know just where the money went: down the drain).

My Virgo mother would doubtless purse her lips and file away the joke (and repeat it at exactly the right time - you can say that about Virgos, they have perfect timing), my Taurean father is too busy moving mountains to notice, but you would get a guffaw out of him if you tried hard enough. My Sag elder sister is busy feeling persecuted while reading comics on the side and sending her much younger lover buy her some food - but he must not take too long! My Cancerian younger sister is with her children, of course. One of whom is destined to be a disappointed petulant lioness without an army and the other a cool and vengeful Scorpio - no doubt a hired killer in the Special Forces or something like that.

Nice family, I have. No-one has such a dreadful family as I, what did I do to deserve it?, oh no, I've lost my pen and my boyfriend again! oh boo hoo hoo.........

Thanks Baby Owl for the link you posted. Definetly funny and a keeper. I particularly enjoyed the compound names the author came up with for the cuspoids. The sigils were a hoot too.

Thanks again.

Those of you who find this amusing might like the book "Born on a Rotten Day" by Hazel Dixon-Cooper.

Well, the link I gave gives tidbits of her book and it's indeed funny, it does give me the taste to get her book. Finally someone who has interesting things to say on the signs. :D

The scorpio section looks so much like my brother it's hilarious. :) I'm glad someone was capable to put all his flaws into words because I couldn't. I love him but he is so hard to live with...

I haven't read it all yet, but I like what I have read so far. Funny, but in some instances pretty spot on!!

LOL I think this woman must have met my Aquarian old man...

"He's twitchy. Most male Water Bearers have a nervous grimace that people mistake for a lopsided grin. His electrically-charged personality makes him the king of snap judgments, endless pronouncements, and long answers to questions you never asked. On especially wild days his mere appearance causes dogs to howl and cats to hiss."

Oh well, at least he doesn't interfere with me leading my army...;)

Funny but at the same time, so true. Nothing like reading this to put things into its proper perspective. If anyone else has got any, sorry I don't, bring it on!!!
