Crystal Crazy!!! Somebody Stop Me...

I am crystal crazy!

I can't stop myself from buying Labradorite and Kyanite.

I bought a beautiful strand of Kyanite beads, tablet shaped, and have made earrings, a necklace and bracelet with them, and mixed in some Lab, some Denim Lapis, Smokey Quartz...I am decked out in stones.

I have Selenite in the Tarot cabinet, a beautiful Merkaba that was a gift and is an Amethyst, I have Chevron Amethyst stones in the bedroom, quartz everywhere and there seems to be no end in sight!

I even have a very small crystal skull of Mookite, and she is just so cute. She has a name, and I found her at the shop where I read. I picked her up and noticed a little crystal chip in her nose. Well, I had to pick it out, and I was laughing because I was thinking I'm always wiping someone's nose, and when I got that chip out, no kidding, I felt some relief from the little cutey. So I had to take her home!!!!

Now I am a rock hound, but I have never been into crystals.

Suddenly I can't get enough of them. I'm even thinking of ways to decorate with them, that are fairly out of the ordinary.

I just have to say that the Kyanite is really doing something powerful for me. I wear it and feel so much better. I have to wear it when I'm reading now, along with the Lab. It really helps me to stay grounded, and I just feel more in tune and relaxed.

Wow. Is anyone else addicted to a particular crystal???

I am a Tourmaline freak!!! I love stones in general though. Kyanite is a great one, also one that doesn't need to be cleansed.

We just had a gem show here and I picked up some more Tourmaline and a few other items and had a Tanzanite ring made.

I am on the look out for a NICE piece of Watermelon Tourmaline for my heart chakra work....we have one at the store, but it isn't mine, doesn't speak to me.

But, I have a Moldavite pendant on hold for myself...OOO-LA-LA. It is a Chunk and is set in Sterling, holy moly it is so nice. I'm told not everyone can wear it, and boy I had better not be one of those! And the price is so inexpensive for Moldavite...I can't wait to get it. Won't be soon tho. Won't be soon!

If you are drawn to a stone suddenly, strongly, or inexplicably, you need its energies a lot at that time. Lately I have been buying little bits of citrine -- the inexpensive tumbled kind -- one or two pieces at a time, almost every time I come across it in a shop. It looks irresistibly cheery, and I need some extra cheer now...as well as the prosperity it also represents.

So look up the stones online or in a book, and see if some of their properties resonate with a special need in your life right now. The result might be interesting.

I went through an amethyst phaze a couple of months ago, then a tiger eye one, then a selenite one.

At all times if I see a nice piece I have to grab it up is malachite and fluorite.

I think that if you find a stone you MUST have then you are meant to have it for whatever reason weather it is for yourself now or for soemthing in the future.

I keep wanting MORE amethyst and florite--when I hadn't bought anything in years! Acquired about 5 pieces of each in the last 2 months (some rather big pieces) and am restraining myself from buying more . . . well, maybe just a LOOK today . . .

Another Amethyst-addict and Malachite-maniac here.
When I go crystal hunting, I have my shopping list, trying to find one's I do not have in my collection yet. BUT, if I see malachite or amethyst I just have to get at least one of each. I just can't help it, there's just something about those two that are so special to me that my collection of them just keeps growing.

My latest Amethyst faves:
Cactus Amethyst points.
I have one with four terminations and it is so beautiful.
I have another at the store on hold...my on hold pile is growing.

I also love Celestite. I have some Angelite from some months ago, but I really like the Celestite better...another ite. go figure.

I am a freak for opal, labradorite, rainbow moonstone, and quartz.

I love all quartz...but in particular those spiffy clear pointies, and smokey quartz!...oh...and yes!...rose quartz too!

And citrine. I am a sucker for citrine. maybe it's the clearness, or the golden color...or the fact that rainbows so often appear in it!

I would probably collect tourmalines too...if I could afford it!
like the watermelon, or multishades....
