black pearl

My mom just told me she has a black pearl ring given to her by my dad when he was stationed in Korea many years ago. Does anyone know of any associations, energies given off, etc. from black pearls?

Pearls in general are associated with the moon, silver, the element water and the godesses Isis, Aphrodite, Freya and all oceanic dieties. Pearls are receptive.

Wear the pearl to attract money, love and good luck in general.

Hmmm..
Sounds like I need to borrow that ring and wear it some!
